Assuming that Germany could take out the Allies, Japan stands no chance.
Japan never stood a chance against America alone in the first place; their entire war goal was to force a truce with the US before the war machine was fully geared up.

I'm not sure how you arrived at this point from that. By the time America could realistically have surrendered, the soviets were starting to roll over the germans.

Yes, America entered the war way too late, mostly to give the final blow on the weakened Germany.

Most experts believe Germany did have a chance to win the war and their biggest mistake was the disastrous invasion of soviet territory.

Communism and Socialism are different things. While the majority of the world is now socialist, very few countries are communist at the moment. One is a command based economy, while the other is an attempt to add social benefits to a capitalist economy.

I don't see why they would as there would be plenty of world for them to share and they were like minded to an extent, but...

Army - Goes to Germany. The SS were every bit as fanatical as the Japanese, and every bit as brutal. The Wehrmacht was one of the greatest fighting forces of all time. The Japanese were mostly light infantry with rifles, a machinegun here, a mortar there while traveling on foot for island hopping campaigns. They were definately not designed to fight a heavily armed and mechanized force like the Germans.

Armor support and mechanized transport definately go in Germany's favor, as does logistics. Japanese logistics were just bad.

Naval - Japan for surface fleet action most definately. The Kriegsmarine had some excellent fighting ships in the battleship class, but not enough, and no carriers. However, much would hinge on how Japan deals with Germany's vicious U-Boat wolfpacks hunting their capital ships.

Air - Edge to Germany, but not as much as one would think. Japan had many, many excellent carrier trained fighter pilots that were superior to the US pilots early in the war. The Luftwaffe on the other hand had the best aces in air combat of all time. While Japan was developing high perfomance fighters of its own, the Luftwaffe had such nifty toys as the ME-262, Do-335, and HE-162, not to mention the first jet bombers.
Carrier airforce goes to Japan (of course), Land based airforce goes to Germany.

Japan can't win a land war against Germany.

Actually the Second Italo-Ethiopian war was as swift and brutal as it gets. You seem to be making the common mistake of confusing it with the first one, occurred in 1896.
Then again, even the British suffered a series of humiliating losses at the hands of the Zulus around the same period, so I don't know what this proves.
Open a history book instad of getting your facts from Hetalia sometimes.

Ahahah, what? As of late XIX century Ethiopia already had at its disposal some cutting edge artillery, kindly supplied by the Russians as an offshoot of the war of attriton they and the Brits were having in the Middle East (remember, before Italy the one who set its sights on Ethiopia was Britain). Not that it has any bearing on the discussion anyway, the Second Italo-Ethiopian War was won with flamethrowers and mustard gas.
