Why aren't there more eroge where you play as a girl?

Pretty much the only one I've ever played was Doushin ~ Same Heart, back when I was just starting to play visual novels. I found it incredibly hot in my underaged days, but it unfortunately it led me to believe tons of games were told from a female perspective.

Realizing that I was wrong was a sad day indeed.

I just got around playing Doushin - Same Heart, and it's pretty neat for an old game.
