As I continue to read the Court Alf profiles, the settings there continue to amaze me in their beauty and wonder. If a crop of zombies were to pop up largely disconnected from undead society as a whole (recently mana saturated graveyard or something) the most capable zombie emerges as a pack leader/protector of her less able brethren.

I know an isekai situation is one theory for the MC of KC's rpg, but the scene I just saw makes me question that. It seems more like our character could have some kind of past in the MGE world itself.

That is, a succubus notes that before we actually even met the werecat and imp wives in the game we already had their mana on us. Further, there are "lots" of other manas also on us. The imp and werecat confirm this, and also note they feel like they know each other from the past too.

What's also mysterious is that the local monsters don't seem to know why the humans are teleporting in either. The succubus notes she lived in a mamono realm, but traveled to the area we are in because a friend told her a lot of men were suddenly wandering around.

Well to my understanding the original MGQ was fan translated by one guy and since he did it and pretty much everything else himself he didn't have to pay anybody for it.

Basically it was a stroke of luck that the game caught the attention of a translator who was invested enough in it to do all that work without reward. And even then, he did get burned out (to my knowledge he's not involved in translating the sequel).
