Why am I getting a "registry error" whenever I try to open this game? In addition, I tried deleting the folder, reinstalling, and it still seems to think the game is still installed, and when I attempt to run from the CD drive, it still gives a registry error.

What specific registry error could make the game not work?

Also, I recently changed the primary account I used because for some reason my old account shut off my monitor; could that have messed up the reg?

i think that happens when the program doesnt have admin permission

If it's installed on a different user than the one you're currently using, that could cause issues.

Nevermind.

when you install the game it adds a whole lot of shit to the registry. without it the game doesn't work.

why didn't the faggots use an ini file, i have no idea, but the thing is, once you fuck that up you're screwed.

you can try looking for this stuff with regedit.
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Will\yumemirukusuri]

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{03ABC33C-10B1-400E-B1FA-E81
7FE98D11C}]

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Peach Princess\YUME MIRU KUSURI\1.00.0000]

[HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-299502267-1383384898-1801674531-1003\Software\Will\yumemirukusuri]

and deleting them after a backup, maybe that'll make the game realise it's not installed anymore and allow you to reinstall.

Incidentally, I deleted the original user account entirely.

This *seems* to work, installing now. Thanks.
