Really, a lot of the shit people give to the MGE is because of the fan translations. Especially the ones from the MonsterGirls Unlimited community, who wanted the setting to be "grimdark" and were not above twisting words or straight making shit up to support their interpretation.
The Ogre is a perfect case: in the commercial English translation they like erotic wrestling as a form of foreplay and competitive sex. But in the old MGU translation (the one still in the wiki) they make them sound like sadistic husband-beaters.
