It was a dragon killing scene in Pyramids I think. There was this party, in it were a hero and a statistician and others I forgot. They were supposed to kill a dragon but of course had no chance with what they had. So one of them asks the statistician "what are our chances?" and he replies some random odds. They keep on doing stuff to lower the odds like shooting against the wind, shooting blindfolded, on one leg etc until the odds are 1 to 1 million

Something like that, but Komachi herself is a sort of judge. You get money in the afterlife based off how many people cared about you/how many good deeds you did, or some such. If you don't have enough money, Komachi kicks you off halfway.
