What an awful start, I nearly dropped it because of this (I'm glad I didn't or I would have missed what ends up being a pretty decent story), it's like whoever was in charge looked at the game and went, "Nope, this clearly doesn't have enough rape, let's fill the first quarter of the game with utterly random and pointless rape scenes."

I'm playing through the first week (thats how people measure it I think) of Cross Channel, should be finishing any time now and starting the second one, and I really don't find it anything special. MC is perverted in an entertaining way, but otherwise, dialogue is boring and characters pretty uninteresting.
Does it get better? Plot wise I'm assuming yes, but I don't see anything spectacular in dialogues/narration or characters to warrant the popularity it has.

It does get better. But even then, IMO, it never really gets good. I see a lot of praise for it now that look in threads about it, but the game bores me to death and the writing style isn't very good. The characters don't interest me, either.

I went into the game with a blank slate; I didn't read anything about it, I didn't look at reviews or how highly people rated the game, so there was no bias, good or bad, on my part.
