Last volume mags killed khvarenah, frederica and bahlavan. Mashyana got offed in the volume before that. Zurvan was forced to exit the stage by Mithra after he broken his commandment, as punishment he's to continuously reincarnate across the thrones to serve as witness. Currently in this chapter, Magsarion has killed Kakihosru/Dragonboi and Alma, as well as having absorbed his hadou, a similar thing happened with Khvarenah who went hadou god but was in an imperfect state. Currently the only Maou's alive are Nadare and Aka Manah. Aka Manah's true form is a demonic sword created by Nahid via forcefully condensing hundreds of millions of star spirits into the form of a sword - which has the added function of being able to forcefully cause people to Tentsui. Also it's been revealed just recently that Nahid was meant to be this era's hero but her role was stolen by Varhram via his commandment. Varhram also stole Sirius' emotion of love which will surely fuck with his hadou. Right now, no one has a clue who or what Varhram is, what he's planning and what's going to happen next.

Yeah the sword Varhram used actually has a conscious. Her name is Ahura Mazda and she's existed from the very start of Mithra's reign. She's Ashavan/Good's sides' ultimate weapon and can only be held by that era's chosen Hero. Her function works by collecting the prayers of all the Ashavan and turning it into raw power. Quinn is actually something of a reincarnation of her since she was nomed alongside Varhram after he was lynched by a bunch of Ashavan mobs who Tentsui'd into Dragvant's. The image is the sword possessing the Quinn from the prologue who was actually Sirius' wife, which makes Sirius Frederica's father. However, there was a point where Ahura Mazda possessed Quinn(original) and formed a contract with Varhram. The result was Varhram impregnating the possessed Quinn and resulting in the birth of Magsarion, who was actually his son - thus keeping the Masada tradition of asshole dads. This also means that Quinn is Magsarion's biological mother and Frederica is his half sibling. Even though the Ahura Mazda was reformed into the Quinn we know, she was a bit too much for Khvarenah to completely fuck around with and it's believed her main body/true form is still around somewhere as a seperate entity from Quinn. As for the sword Muzan has, we don't have much of a clue.

That depends on which series you're talking about, dear anon. If you mean things like Senshinkan, then it probably won't come back. If you mean Shinza Bansho in general, why, it's still alive. I mean, that's literally what Avesta is about. It's just that it has quite a lot of stuff going on that's not explicitly "hey, these are Dies Irae/Kajiri Kamui Kagura characters", which only makes sense in the scope of Masadaverse if you consider how every often is there to introduce new stuff, not be a direct sequel or whatever.
