For me it was when my brother came into my room while I was playing some Touhou fightaen with /jp/ open in the background and listening to IOSYS. He hasn't looked at me the same since.

Sometimes I play video game/eroge songs on my guitar while out in public (usually while trying out stuff at music shops). And of course no one ever recognizes it; normalbros do not care about immense power levels. It's honestly not something anyone should worry about.
