Anything that involves love between a human and a non-human generally ends sad.

Either the human gets forced into becoming a monster, or they die normally and leave their partner behind.

Remilia and Sakuya get the most.

Marisa and Alice usually end with Marisa leaving her behind. Patchouli too, but she shows emotion less.
