Seems like I did misunderstand the last bit enough to change my impression of it. I think for JP they just expect Japanese people to use superchat anyway because that's the default and it's easy to use on mobile. The thing that worries me about this are the potential rumors or narratives or whatever that Pekora might unwittingly sprout up outside of here.
