To make Cirno, you'd need the strongest fabric, the strongest needle and the strongest thread.

Do you have enough materials, king of sewing?

>> No.322617

>>322579
I was thinking of startin with Cirno, 'cause she'd be easy. Plus, then I'd have a plushie of the Srongest in Gensokyo, so it'd be the strongest plushie.

>>322594
I'd need more pictures of Inu Sakuya to do a decent job on her, also, Ahoge is painful on plushies.

>>322575
see Cirno.

Alright, I should be able to get a rough pattern done by tonight sometime, and I've got most of tomorrow to work on it. It's been a while since I sewed anything, so Inu Sakuya should be relatively easy to warm up on again. I'll post progress later.

>> No.322702

What materials are you going to use? Some of us in /jp/ are faggots that could help a bit.

>> No.322710

>>322702
I've got a felt-ish material for the skin, about 27 different colors of felt for hair, and cotton cloth for most of the rest of it. Standard thread in almost every imaginable color, as well as a decent selection of needles. Also, some old sewing machine (I'd have to actually dig it out and look at it to tell you what it was)

>> No.322730

>>322701

I'll buy it at a high price.

>> No.322731

>>322710
You really shouldn't need the sewing machine. Take it slow and do it by hand. You might consider using the machine for the clothes, but at this small scale, it might be easier to hand sew it as well.

The machine just makes certain parts of it easier. (mainly the body, and some of the clothing) I was planning on attaching the parts by hand, then dressing the doll that way. The headband is what I was thinking was gonna give me trouble, but I can just sew it to the face piece, and hide the stiches behind the hair.

make marisa and alice dolls so you can do this

>> No.322871

>>322854
I plan on making them all eventually, it's just the thought of where to start. There's so many to choose from. There's some that are right out, given that I haven't been sewing for a while, so nothing like Ran or Yukari, or any of the characters with more complicated outfits/headgear. Which leaves me with quite a few of my favorites. Marissa's gonna be a bitch if for no other reason than that goddamn hat. Alice shouldn't be that bad, though, and I may do her somewhere near the start. Right now I'm looking at making a few Inu Sakuya to get warmed up again, then rundown Cirno, Rumia, Tewei, Remila, and/or Youmu, before working my way up to the more complicated ones.

Marisa's hat should be easy. Black cone with black circle at bottom. Add some lace (just use real lace, it's cheap enough). Add cloth ribbon, tied into bow then stiched to hold together.
