Actually, it's pretty well known that kryptonite is lethal to Superman... or at least it's supposed to be, despite the detail that he routinely gets covered in piles of it and survives.

That hardly even matters though because one of you fails to understand that the word "weakness" does not necessarily mean specifically a Superman-style "this thing will depower me and fucking kill me" weakness, and another one of you doesn't figure out that Remilia is a fucking vampire and has a vampire's weaknesses. Also, not all kryptonite is lethal to Superman. Only green kryptonite. Red kryptonite has temporary random effects depending on the fragment. Afterwards he becomes immune to that particular fragment's effects. Gold permanently removes Kryptonian superpowers. Blue only affects Bizarro clones the same way as green affects Superman. Black splits personalities. White kills all plant life. Jewel enhances Phantom Zone residents psychic powers. Anti-Kryptonite only affects non-Kryptonians. X-Kryptonite gives superpowers to non-Kryptonians.
