I think it's a bit exacerbated since he's playing for kills and not wins, but that aggressiveness is also part of his strength and what makes his Apex fun to watch. It's been pointed out before, like when that pro player CR_Francisco coached them last tournament, but what the team needs is a shotcaller that can reign in Astel when the situation calls for it. If I remember it correctly, his team assessment, at least for Chibistars, was that Astel and Kira should focus on the firefights, since that's what they're good at, while Izuru focus on calling the shots since he falls a bit behind the two. With the current composition though, I have no clue how the dynamic is supposed to work now.

The teams are much more balanced, Gorilla is more or less neutered because he's stuck with two awful teammates (sorry kuku) and he still has Izuru with him, and they make a great team. It's true that the Holostars debuted at a time when certain talents from the main branch still collabed with males, that Cover made the decision to forcibly seperate the two by policy and that they've since retracted that policy (saying they regret it was a choice they made at all) but the majority of Holos don't have any interest in collabing with them just like most of them no longer collab with males outside company. as much as I personally wish the timeline was different because I like talents from both, it doesn't matter because this is the reality we live in and focusing on supporting the Holostars as they are now is that's important. I believe in them and the incline they're on and that they'll be able to grasp the same kind of opportunities that the main branch has earned with their own hands through building the Holostars as its own brand.

The best things the Holostars could get going is essentially becoming honorary Nijis.
Their group of indies and small corporate vtuber is very fun, but it really doesn't offer any opportunities to grow, being realistic the indie vtuber scene peaked with Sio, while other companies don't offer much, Patra the biggest talen under 774 is never going to even acknowledge the stars and Haneru has been plateauing through most of 2020 and she clearly favours the main branch but the Nijis on the other hand, they have an audience that isn't allergic to men and most of their 2020 new hires have actually been fairly successful, a colla with someone like Kuzuha would be infinitely more beneficial than one with Pekora

I think it's a mixture of the language barrier, and that they're not really the chatty type. With the game collabs, usually Iofi is there to smooth things out on the language side, and there's less of a focus on actually conversing and more on game reactions. You can also tell as well that Oga is speaking way slower and choosing his words more carefully than usual to accomodate Risu.
