GGs anise. Sorry if it was a little much for you. Couple of quick, easy to implement pointers that I noted while we were playing. Firstly, you really, really, really need to ground tech more. When you get cornered you're basically dead, because every time you get knocked down I know exactly where you're going to be when you stand up. In order to ground tech all you have to do is hold left/right and D while you're prone. It's an invincible roll that makes it infinitely more difficult to set up okizeme (like Sakuya's j.2B/214B) on you. The other thing you ought to start doing is holding guard when you get hit by a large number of bullets. Sakuya's/Alice's j.2B was raping you because I could fly in behind them and start a combo off of them that you had time to guard. Just those two minor adjustments should help your game immensely.

General guide to improving at any fighting game:
1. Pick 1-3 character(s) and learn all of their attacks and their uses and their most important combos
2. Fight other human opponents
2a. If your opponent is better than you, repeatedly go at it with your best character(s) so that your opponent might drill into your head the mistakes that you're making
2b. If your opponent is worse than you, play characters you don't understand very well so that you can learn how they work and can fight against them better
3. Regardless of your opponent, always passively watch what they do while actively fighting for your life. The former will tell you how to play the character that your opponent is using. The latter will serve as general practice
4. After a fair bit of play so that you have the basics down, try to learn the intricacies of the system you're playing under. SWR examples would include things like Border Escape, blockstrings, and other such things that are not immediately evident to a new player
5. Watch videos of good players for answers to situations that you can't come up with an answer for

The only time I've ever "practiced" against computers was when I had a new combo I was trying to work into my play but had difficulty executing it in actual matches whereas I had 100% execution in practice mode. That's the only case in which they ever make a nice substitute for a human opponent.

The normal process in a fighting game would be:

A attacks. If B blocks, he can attack first after A's attack.
A can block that attack, and if he isn't hit, he can attack first next.

Patchy vs. Alice is the most fuckin hurf a durf match-up I've ever seen. Alice's C dolls have like twice the delay they used to, so you can't throw those out without taking a fireball in the face, Alice's pressure doesn't work on Patchy because of her extended ground tech, Patchy's wide danmaku constantly destroys Alice's dolls, Alice has no graze attack to get through Patchy's shit, and any attempt to stagger pressure with the boot results in a point blank 5C.

Regarding Patchy vs. Alice, I do believe a lot of that was simply momentum. Once I got the grimoire's going I could apply such a never-ending barrage of missiles that I don't believe Alice could throw dolls fast enough to compensate. Must say, I'm liking that new card, but I do believe it might be seeing a nerf in the future.

alt 236 lasers are simply a great alternate skill for Cirno. Penetrates most projectiles, and if a person tries to graze it, they're vulnerable to melee.

As for snowball, I've never figured out a good strategy for what to do against them regardless of who I play.

What don't you understand? I have to wait like a fourth of a second before I can use the DP, which is a lot longer than it sounds in a fighting game. I don't like having to wait longer than in most fighting games and potentially missing or doing the wrong input. That's what I'm saying.
Also, the firepunch hits in a cone up and in front of me with invulnerability frames straight from the first level, so I don't know what you mean about it not being a DP.

You don't have to wait 1/4 of a second, it's a lot shorter than that. Short enough that if it wiffs, it would have missed either way.
Also, if you're gonna run under someone and firepunch em (Can't really think of a time when that'd work, but whataver), you might as well 2c first, and then inputs aren't a problem no matter how bad one might be.
And Firepunch is not a DP. It doesn't have invuln at all. ever.
In fact, at lvl 0-1, it is 100% vulnerable the whole time. It only gets a short superarmor period on lvl 2, which gets bigger on lvl 4.
Finally, if this is still vvav I'm talking to, you have more important things to worry about than dash to 236 input reset windows if you want to improve.

GGs Lim. I wouldn't go so far as to say that. Your Sanae to gave my Patchy a lot more trouble than I had expected, especially considering how my Utsuho and Cirno fared against her. The fact that her B bullets spawn behind her definitely throws off my grazing and her 5C is one of the few bullets that can't be beaten by Patchy's 6C, but I'll keep on trying to out shoot it anyways and then eat the Kanako follow-up (Jesus Christ the hitbox on that attack is huge!). Keep playing, I'm always up for matches.

GGs. Gotta say, your Aya and Yukari kind of scare me. When you were Aya I could just never find a way in. I was completely and totally shut out. As for Yukari, I'd yet to see that alt skill of in use and it is damn annoying. I spent so much time just trying not to get hit by it that I could barely attack you. Nice Utsuho as well, but, as you prolly noticed in the Patchy vs. Utsuho match, you've some weaknesses in your strategy to work on. Namely you get locked down by pressure too easily. Granted, it's a weakness of Utsuho's in general, but part of play is marginalizing the inherent weaknesses of your characters of choice.
