It really doesn't look anywhere near a good a game as idolm@ster.
Just another ronery dating\drinking\breast-oogling game to appease the filthy otaku masses.

Having owned and played the shit out of both iM@S and L4U I can see that fans are getting bored. The last few catalogues have been nothing but songs, songs which are just hocked from SP. The latest catalogue, 17, shows that we're getting a few more costumes though.

Dream Club has better animation but most of the characters are shameless iM@S clones. The only original ones are Riho (brown haired girl), Airi (robot.. but she's singing an almost identical-to-Perfume song), Amane (red haired girl) and Mion (yellow haired girl). It's missing the ability to have trios or duos, but that would probably crash the 360 or have really horrible FPS.

Nao = Makoto, Reika = Chihaya, Setsu = Ami/Mami, and so on.

Remember, Tamsoft are the makers of Oneechanbara. They don't make good games. I've still preordered Dream Club though, because I don't like the PSP iM@S games (they look awful) and as will the DS version. And I'm getting kinda bored of iM@S; nothing interesting has come out for the 360 in the recent months.

Ketsui/Futari are taking their sweet fucking time to get released..

I actually like the direction the series is going. The PSP had some interesting features and the DS is doing something different. Both had better music and choreography come out of them, but that's just me.

btw, what type of Japanese 360 do you have? I've that they were lowering the prices on the Elite and there are a few games exclusive to the JPN system that I want to play badly.
I fucking hate region locks...

I have a Falcon model. You do realize that all the music in the PSP versions are just taken from the Master Artist CDs, right? It's not new. The only "new" songs are when they release them in L4U, which gives you access to all idols singing them (instead of just Azusa only, singing Tonarini on her CD).

What about Time Leap?

It didn't take off..

It sold like shit because frontwing put absolutely no effort into advertising. Which is funny because D3 Publisher has insane advertising for Dream Club, including:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WdZ6GaIlh9M

And a whole section dedicated to it on the Japanese 360 marketplace, as well as an official D3 channel on nico. I actually preferred the animation in Time Leap but it's never going to sell as much as what Dream Club will.
