Is there a way to start this game as a clan that isn't Oda?

I really enjoyed playing as Uesugi in Shogun: Total War.

Pretty funny opening for it when you choose Uesugi as well, opens up to Kenshin worrying about Japan going into total war, then Ai says why don't we just secure/conquer japan to stop it? Kenshin didn't even think about that at all so then she sets off to do so.
