There has never been 50 characters in one main touhou game. Just the girls involved. Stop pretending it is a soap opera where everyone has their own plot line going. You're not trying to keep track of all their lives and updating your site about what role they all played in each game.

Someone hasn't been paying attention to the print works. Touhou is a soap opera, except less serious and with a lot more tea and frilly dresses.

I think their point was that EVERY character doesn't have a plot line going. Just because a character doesn't have an epic written about them doesn't mean they aren't interesting.

Also, Mima has been in Touhou since Highly Responsive to Prayers and was a mainstay all the way up to Mystic Square. I don't think you can really fault people for wanting some of the old characters to return and be developed more. Afterall, it worked for Alice didn't it?
