As far as I'm concerned most the old characters were *fixed*. Some got certain moves nerfed, but I think overall everyone is more useful and less spammable. For instance, Reimu's barrier is now vastly better than I recall it being. I used to be next worthless. Now its actually pretty good. Amazing what a couple extra seconds and not disappearing when the player is hit will do.

Well, I was PLANNING on maining Suwako, but she's even worse than Reisen was in SWR. It's hard just moving where you want to go, and she has no priority or graze frames on anything. If you could put someone in the corner with her, she would be good, since she does so much chip and has long airtight strings, but she has nothing to actually put them there in the first place.
GGs, raged at your Okuu, probably because I had no idea what she was doing. I had to go Patchy to beat her, since I figured Patchy could outprioritize her bullets and take advantage of her slow speed. I was rather surprised that Patchy's 236B/C cancels out that big nuclear fireball that seems like it covers half the screen.
