Merry Christmas! I hope it finds you all well, and that you all had a good one. Sorry for the lateness, I was hoping to have this done a good few hours ago, but things came up, as things do.

Here's Christmas Incubus, a seasonal little continuation of my old Incubus story that's still visible on pastebin thankfully, but sadly, this particular story is just too hot for pastebin's "smart" filter. If we go with the option where everyone doesn't get mass raped against their will but instead each gets their ideal/favourite girl catering to their inner desires, how do species like slug girls or skeleton girls even manage to survive the competition?
Ignoring the standard succubuses the ones vastly preferred are the ones that are way rarer (Demons, Wights, Lilims, Manticores/Hellhounds, Cheshires), how does it balance it out? There can't be a top tier girl for everyone and there's gonna be a mass of ugly/unwanted mg's who have trouble finding a partner but that goes against the happy ending logic the monster girl universe runs in

Well this is one reason why a massive swarming portal scenario probably wouldn't work without a bunch of caveats. One major aspect of the setting is that there are far more available men than there are monsters, and that monster girls typically just take the excess men that would never get a human woman to begin with.

On that note, such men in the MGE world are probably less likely to be picky. Slug or not, a gorgeous woman who wants them would still be appreciated by a village peasant who could never hope for anything remotely as good from humans.

Also, I'd wager most of the disliked monsters would have more fans if KC decided to redo them someday. Just imagine giant slug done with updated art and she'd likely be closer to the tritonia in number of fans.

Natural selection? Guiding magical hand? I guess with enough hand-waving it could work. I suppose it's irrelevant though since the discrepancy between men and women isn't high IRL and most women would either be changed or stick with human men who wanted human partners. The few men who were interested in a mamono waifu would probably have a healthy selection to find their ideal partner.

Well if most of the monsters start out as humans then that removes a lot of issues as they'd go for the people who already are close to them or love them and said people wouldn't be put off once they realized they are still the same person deep down.

That is a man whose wife monsterizes is going to still see her as his wife first and whatever monster girl she became second.

To be clear there are already a lot of monsters who have trouble getting a man, though not so much that they are unwanted but more because it can be hard to reach areas with a lot of available men (a lot of the world is uninhabited and thus a monster may have to take a long and arduous journey).

To help guide such monsters is why the celestial spheres of trysts were invented, albeit they turned out to be flops.

The MGE is a world of happy endings, but the happy part can take a long time to occur. Just look at that kraken in world guide gaiden 3 that had to wait literal centuries for her husband to be born and find her.
