Only played first three SaGas (on gameboy)
SaGa1: mediocore
SaGa2: plot is great; also, there going to be remake for DS

Agreed, the music really sets them apart from the crowd. Even the gameboy entries did some amazing stuff, what with Xagor's theme, and THE MOTHERFUCKING TALON THEME.
