Nah that was something different. Moot had set up a system where if a post was reported for illegal material 5 times it got instantly deleted. Back then reporting had no captcha so someone created a script that allowed them to report a post 5 times with a different IP to insta-delete it. It then went further beyond a made a script to delete every post on a board.

Moot stickies and forces /b/ to see a video of some Japanese ad for a brand of pudding called Giga Pudding while also filtering every post to say nothing but PUDDI PUDDI. He subsequently stickies the same video on /jp/. /b/ raids /jp/ en masse for hours, deleting every board related thread, our meido at the time was working like mad to delete all the spam. He even dmed moot on IRC to ask him to turn /b/ back to normal but moot responded with "just wait until tomorrow lol". Meido just quit right after since it was clear moot didn't give a shit about the state of the board let alone the site.
