obviously the solution is to make /touholo/, a double containment board which will also punish both groups by trapping both in an eternal war of spamming and shitflinging, leaving jaypee exclusively for discussion of LNs and VNs, doujins and merch, the culture, history, language and tourism of japan, the other aspect of otakuism - the hikikomori phenomenon, and also all /seagull/ content too since that should never have been a separate board.

"but /jp/ was made for us" doesn't matter since it was made as a containment board for everything on /a/ in 2008 that wasn't anime and manga. if vsimps were there then, they would have been sent here too.

however despite these lowly origins jaypee became good and deserves better than being dominated by any one niche interest with an autistically obsessed fanbase. get rid off all groups who would turn it into that, and we can all finally take it easy, in time for christmas!

The real issue here is that the 2hu posters aren't really better than the vtuber posters that are currently clogging up the board at the moment. Making a new board as a containment wouldn't really work, as it would just be a sign welcoming unwanted attention.
I think making /jpg/ (Otaku Culture General) basically containing all of /jp/'s current general with 2hu included too would work the best. Touhou wouldn't obviously be strictly forbidden, but the meidos should definitely get rid of the "filler" threads that are no better than the current spam going on.

Making a vtuber board as a containment wouldn't really work. Simply making a board pandering to vtubers would simply invite other unwanted stuff along with it. There isn't really a need for an entire board when a couple of generals should easily contain it. Besides, even if they did make a vtuber board, those who complained about needing a e-celeb board or whatever are going to be more cancerous until they finally get their board. Though, If mods actually moderated the site, there wouldn't be any of these problems.
