I really don't see the appeal of visual novels, so no great loss.

>> No.3110703

True. But if I haven't been spending so much time on /jp/ I could've never get to know about Umineko at all.

>> No.3110704

but i mou shiteiru nippongo kono aho

Why are you browsing /jp/ - Touhou/Visual Novels?

>> No.3110710

>>3110695
If I learned Japanese, I'd rather read superior material.

>> No.3110713

>>3110706

The touhou.

>> No.3110720

Who cares. The translation will be done a few months later after release, no big deal.

I'll just avoid /jp/ until that happens.

And I think about that everyday.

I doubt that, it takes a LOT of effort to fluently learn a language at my age and I don't browse /jp/ THAT much.

>> No.3110728

I've never really cared about learning the language.

I spend time on 4chan while studying Japanese at a very slow rate. Now what?

>> No.3110737

But don't you think it's better to learn Mandarin instead. China WILL grow larger and so is the opportunities.

>> No.3110740

I still have 1-4 sitting on my desktop unplayed.

>> No.3110745

>>3110737
But China doesn't produce anime, manga, video games, and visual novels, so who gives a fuck? And no, they won't in the future.

>> No.3110772

>>3110726
Not as much effort as you probably think.

>>3110737
I don't think anyone on /jp/ is going into international business so it won't help.

>> No.3110781

IT SAYS SEACATS

HEY I WANTED TO SAY THAT

>> No.3110786

I can't learn anymore languages as I already speak 4. And for my normalfag job all of those has more usefulness here in Europe.

>> No.3111249

Ah, but I already know Japanese, and I'm not going to read Umineko 5

>> No.3111272

>>3111249
I don't think you know japanese. Enjoy reading Umineko 5 once the translation comes out.

Alone.

>> No.3111281

... and yet I still would not understand it.

>> No.3111308

How would I know what Umineko is if I didn't spend all this time on /jp/?

>> No.3111317

If i knew japanese i would read something worthy, not Umineko

Fact: Chinese fan-translations come out twice or three times as fast as the English ones. They also have a huge library of translated console/handheld games.
It's the next best thing compared to Japanese
