Established channels have very little to gain from jumping ship to an agency, and Gen5 got left to the fucking dogs after the whole Aloe thing. If she keeps reaching out to the EN audience she might see her growth surge, though. She got a big boost from doing EN among us streams while that was a fad.

She's accumulated antis from her past channels that followed her over to Hololive. Nijifags hate her because she candidly answered why she would never consider applying to that company on a previous channel. And there are a lot of obsessed hololive fans that dislike her because, strictly speaking, she has way more streaming experience than the majority of hololive despite being a 'new' recruit. That upsets the whole order of seniority and makes them incredibly insecure for some reason. Polka herself is always super conscious of seniority and keigo whenever she collabs outside of her gen, which has actually held her back from getting boosted by those collabs.

All the other shit said about her is just the above antis inventing reasons to hate her or trying to fabricate drama out of nothing. "She's too loud" is code for "she has no right to speak around her betters". In reality she's usually quiet as hell in collabs because she's trying too hard to be respectful.
