Ok, so I just finished Episode 4 the other day.
So, why should I hate Bern?
From what I could see, 34 is in more control since she brought up all that red...

Also, she's just in it for the lulz. Unlike 34 who wants to completely imprison Bern, there's nothing stopping Bern from ragequitting at any time she wants.
