Good. Nice pacing and the build up is good. One thing I'm annoy is why didn't Reiji go up to his apartment to confirm if Cal is dead. That was what I was going through my mind, hoping he does this but, decides to go to fucking Mexico with Elen leaving Cal with that faggot Scythe.

I'm waiting for that fucker, Scythe to die.

It feels really slow to me. Haven't read the VN but I get feeling they are raelly stretching the material. Very little happen per episode, and they managed to stuff in two recaps. Still, it's not unenjoyable - feels better than Umineko at least.

The anime is one of the most faithful adaptation I've seen. I played through all the endings, and I have to say I'm quite enjoying it so far. The anime is using quite a lot anime original scenes, and it often skipped the parts I didn't really enjoy. I was really looking forward for Cal's ark, and how they are going to manage it, but they met my expectations very well. Too bad the first episode was lolbeetrain, and it may have been put numerous viewers away, since the show is awesome.

Well I personally use Inferno's subs. They started subbing it around episode 8. Unfortunately I don't remember by now what subs I used before that I'm afraid.

Inferno's subs are good, and at a good resolution.
They went back and subbed previous episodes, as well, so you can get the whole set.

And personally, I'm enjoying Phantom. Ein is love.

Underwater has superior video quality and about the same quality subs, but they stopped about halfway through. Might want to use those for the earlier episodes.
