Am I the bone of my sword?
If steel is my body, and fire is my blood, then what of my heart and mind?
The many weapons I have created, are they truly the worth of my life?
If I think, yet I am not known to life nor death...
Do I truly exist at all?
Is the pain I have endured to forge these creation really there?
If these hands will never hold anything, then is there any reason to have them?
So I ask, "If my life is Unlimited Blade Works, then why do I speak?"

Where the hell did I get Rho Aias from anyway?

Aias (Ajax the Greater) — son of Telamon, with Diomedes, he is second to Achilles in martial prowess.
Teucer, Achaean <archer>, half-brother of Ajax.

Ninth came Teucer, stretching his curved bow.
He stood beneath the shield of Ajax, son of Telamon.
As Ajax cautiously pulled his shield aside,
Teucer would peer out quickly, shoot off an arrow,
hit someone in the crowd, dropping that soldier
right where he stood, ending his life—then he’d duck back,
crouching down by Ajax, like a child beside its mother.
Ajax would then conceal him with his shining shield.

So the question is rephrased: Where did the Rho part come from, anyway?

>> No.3058384

>>3058333
'Rho' is how the letter 'r' is called/pronounced in the Greek Alphabet( ρ, Ρ).
Also, represents number 100.
The context of it while summoning the shield?
I'm not sure.

I can't think of any words beginning with "ro" or "lo" that relate to him, either. I went through the wiki article too, although it might be missing something. Should we ask Nasu?

SWORDS ARE THE NATURE OF MAN.

IN ALL HISTORY THERE IS NO RACE THAT HAS NOT USED SOME VARIATION OF THE SWORD.

THE BLADE IS UNIVERSAL!

>> No.3058633

Stolen from somewhere else:
Rho Aius is supposed to be the shield of Ajax/Aias the Great from the Trojan war, thus owning the name to the hero. It's tricky since the shield isn't named in popular mythology, but the only way to get Aius I can think of is the phonetic spelling.
