Anyone know the name of this game? The synopsis was something like "MC goes to a club room and there's a bunch of female occult club members performing a ritual orgy. It fails and MC gets accidentally cursed with erectile dysfunction. The club members then start curing him of ED via sex over the Summer break."
Already looked through the tags "occult club" and "impotent protagonist".

Downloaded 雨芳恋歌 and got "Data Error" on extraction. Still gave me the mdf so I tried installing but it threw an error at the end about the game exe. Thought well why not copy the files directly and copy the crack over the missing exe? Game says it's not properly installed. Try different uploads, all dead.

普通じゃないッ!! next. Came with a NODVD but after patching still asks for disk. Look online and only find the same crack which hex-edits a single value. Do that on the unmodified file, still doesn't work.

Getting games to work can be frustrating sometimes.

if you're on win10 and trying something that worked on an earlier version that might be screwing you over, just run it in a vm, i haven't had anything fail that way yet at least. but honestly like was already mentioned the newer dvd/dl edition looks like the superior version to play and probably works fine on a newer os so you should just play that

Yeah, i think I might just end up buying the most recent DL version. The process was weird, required extracting a file called wmaudioredist.exe and putting the obtained .dll files in your System32 folder, still never got it to work. Apparently a handful of old eroge use that same audio driver and don't work on Win7 and up.

but its full of retarded unnecessary steps that are just confusing
im pretty sure you just put the audioredist files in C:\Windows\SysWOW64 and run msaud.inf
then create a new string value at Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Drivers32 naming it msacm.msaudio1 and change the value to msaud32.acm
and that should be it

I downloaded the jp version of ROOT Double. Entered the key (DQNE-9CCDUK-TWSJLM-5WHFAC-ZB67EB) but found from another thread on warosu (in 2012) that I need to specifically mount it as a SCSI or I'll get a licence error.

Only SCSI mounting software I've found is Daemon tools which is full of shitty malware, WinCDEmu doesn't seem to do SCSI virtual drives.

Any help for good non malware filled SCSI mounters?

Never read Kara no Shoujo and with the HD remakes I'm kind of on the fence how to play them because of replaced seiyuu. I know they did it for consistency with the third part, but somehow it doesn't sit right with me to replace Suwabe with some literalwho. Would be perfect to have just the new content but keep the old voices that were replaced.
How do people who experienced the original first deal with the voice replacements?

'Unlimited' save slots are obviously doable and I believe some games definitely implement this.

The set number probably makes it easier to make easier UI and to have savefiles use some simple scheme such as Save[0-9]{3}.sav

There's also the thing that people like saves to be on the spot they are saved. (save 4 being save 4 and always on the very same spot on page 1) You get this easier with arrays. If you do something else, saves move around as things get deleted and it can get messy. That's also generally more work to implement, as "moving saves around" is basically quite a bit work. I like having a lot of save slots. I used 267 slots in a Yuzuge, needed to add several pages. The most I used seems to be 437 slots, for which I needed to make 6 folders because of slot limitations. I really hate limits especially when for some reason the devs think 8 slots is enough for a 30 hour game lol.

I vastly prefer the systems in Yuzuge or Madosoft that lets me add something like 9999 pages of save slots. Or in Cube games where you have like 50 "books" with like 20 pages each and those having like 20 save slots each. Or something like Daito that lets me export my save slots so I can easily start a new batch of saves.

IMO what games should do is always allow to make new pages for saves and there should be three types of saves instead of two: regular saves, quick saves, and temporary saves. The last ones are used similar to quick saves except you have pages like with regular saves. That's so you can use those slots for decision points to get into routes or other endings. It sucks to use up normal slots for scenario completion. You could get around that by having games use flowcharts that let you easily jump to any point you need, but that might ruin complexity of flags too much.

With it snatching the top spot from Hikari no Umi no Apeiria in my Best Rated Visual Novels of 2017, I was really looking forward to see what made Kin’iro Loveriche so special, expecting a riveting plot and heartfelt drama in the moege kind of backdrop (basically Hatsuyuki Sakura).

Therefore, it really blew my mind when what I got was an almost insultingly dumb moege with less plot than a goddamn Yuzusoft game. The fact that the main heroine was a princess with unconditional attraction to the protagonist and enough money/power to render any sort of potential challenge inconsequential instantly set off warning sirens in my
head.

The heroines are not only completely one dimensional, they pretty much perfectly represent the most boring stereotypes in visual novels: ditzy princess, stuck-up knight, average girl, and genki girl.

Even the banter — usually the only saving grace of moege — is so dry and dull that instead of cracking smiles it only succeeded at lulling me to sleep.

I honestly can’t find a single good thing to say about the common route and the first four heroine routes, because they’re absolutely atrocious with nothing happening throughout (not even comedy). I’d honest to god recommend a Yuzusoft game over them.

Actually, if you want a good moege just pick up one of SMEE visual novels.

After you’re done reading (or preferably ctrling through) those abominations, you finally unlock Ria’s route which actually attempts (though mostly fails) to be dramatic and heartfelt. That said, it at least does something.

Anyway, I basically feel like I’ve been scammed to read an awful moege with a promise it’ll deliver an amazing nakige experience in the end, but the latter turned out to be just barely okay, while the former was way worse than I ever expected.

I’ve no idea why people like this so much, but I feel like slitting my wrists for the fact I live in a world where I had to put this above Apeiria in my video. It’s the worst visual novel I’ve read in 2017. Not recommended.
