Home consoles are dead in Japan, period. Noone buys or will buy any Xbox ever, PS3 will (at most) get the boost from 30-ish FF fans and then lie unused somewhere in their closets, Wii only sells due to series of gimmicks.

And handhelds' screens are too small for a proper STG experience. There's no choice but the good old PC, really.
