Hello /jp/

I'm planning to head with a mate of mine to the land of moonspeak during their spring holidays (January) for about 3 weeks, staying for a few nights in tokyo and then head out to my friends place 4 hours outside the city. I'd probably stay around that general area and head to tokyo sometimes but can /jp/ reccomend any decent locations daytime and nighttime? I also probably will bring about 2grand (Aus)

Also any pointers as to what to look out for and shit that would get me in trouble wandering around bars in the city.

Just so you know "4 hours outside the city" is pretty vague for any local Anons (of which there are very few) to offer any actual recommendations, assuming they had any such disposition that is.

You also realize 4 hours outside Tokyo is all the way to Hiroshima by Shinkansen right? That's the other side of the country entirely. Even 4 hours by normal train is pretty far. (For example, between Hiroshima and Osaka by local trains is about 5 hours)

Yeah i meant by car; last time i went up there thats how long it took due to the terrible traffic.
