/jp/ is there any games for learning the Japanese language out there?

Perhaps some sort of RPG where you gain levels for correctly answering questions/completing tasks?

It's sad when people need a game to teach them something. Just use a textbook, it's pretty damn close to grinding anyway.

Fuck that, there's no EXP counter so I never know when I level up.

Not exactly a game, but it's for NDS.
KanKen DS3 is one of the best tools for learning the language, it was worth every bit of that 7 MB download.
It covers reading, writing, stroke order, katakana(on the first level), meaning and a lot of other things.
It has tons of built-in text, so if you're not lazy to use a dictionary and put unknown words into your SRS then it also teaches you a lot of common words.

It's fun after you reach a certain level. The grind until that... ugh.
