Battler seems to be getting desperate lately...

If you think that then you've missed the only strength behind the blue.

All he's doing is trying to explain the murders with human means. It doesn't mean he actually believes they were carried out that way.

It's not a strength at all. Beatrice created the blue as another weapon against Battler. Since the time limit for denying the blue with the red is the same as the time limit for the game, she can just stay quiet until the very end and deny all of Battler's blue at the last second, leaving him with no time to think up an alternative. Hence the desperation.

The blue is like a recursive function. It can try all the possibilities. The problem is that Battler is human, not machine, so he couldn't possibly come up with every possibility. He was much better off getting his absurd ideas shot down on the spot, since it eliminates possibilities and lowers the amount of work he has to do to find the truth.

Which is pure idiocy. If they weren't carried out that way, then Beatrice can deny it with the red. The only way to win is to find the method that she CAN'T deny, which is the truth.

>> No.2995063

His ridiculous theories shift the burden of proof onto Beatrice. Her having to explain how the magic could be done is equivalent to chipping away at her.
