It starts out with some guy killing Jason's father and taking over his country. Then it was prophesied that a one sandaled man would take over his kingdom. Low and behold one day Jason helps an old woman (Hera in disguise) across a river and loses a sandal. When he arrives in his country again wearing only one sandal the king sends him on an impossible mission to capture the holy fleece. He goes around and gathers a crew of heroes including Orpheus and Hercules and sets out on a ship called the Argo. Poseiden fucks them up repeatedly but eventually they get to the country where the fleece is. Hera sent Cupid or whatever the fuck his name was in greek mythology down and he shoots Medea, the daughter of the king, with one of his arrows. She immediately falls for Jason and helps him steal the Golden Fleece. Then she cuts her brother into little peices and throws them in the sea to distract the army while they escape. But after everything is resolved Jason goes and marries a princess somewhere so Medea kills his wife and her own children and rides off in a flaming chariot, leaving Jason a broken man. Supposedly he goes and sits under the Argo and a falling wooden beam kills him.

Rider actually was made a lot better because of her biker chick/bondage chick fashion.

We've had a lot of chicks with that long in several animes and hgames but I think they nailed it with Rider.
Only tradeoff was not having Arthur.... well, being Arthur (manly and awesome, just like the myth says) and getting Ayakka as cute, petite, clumsy and enjoyable main character (regardless on if you're playing UBW, Heaven's Feel or whatever storyarc/canon you are playing through). Though I know a lot of people here tell me in this board that I'm in the minority here.

And yeah, Medea is cute as hell and appeals a lot of us romanticists (who, we might add, don't seem to have a place in this current world. It's just a stereotype (romanticism) which is dead in real life and which neither men nor women seem to really like when looking out for someone to sleep with and live on the rest of their lifes).

Cu Chulainn was the most GAR of all of them. His enemies conspired to make him break several oaths he had taken to spiritually weaken him before a battle. He kills nearly 1000 men single handedly, but gets badly wounded after his charioteer and horse get killed. He ties himself to a rock to stay standing and continues to fight. They only realize he's dead when a raven lands on his shoulder. The enemy leader decapitates him out of spite, and as he does, Gae Bolg falls out of his hands and slices the guys arm off. The Greater Grail doesn't summon gods though, and what they god was a poor man who was sacrificed by his fellow villagers in order to purge evil. He was the weakest summon and died very early. Class guide for NON-corrupted Grail

Saber: Any well-balanced heroic spirit. Fighting style is melee. Defense is by parry attacks. Knight class = High magic defense. Most requirements than all classes.
Lancer: Any agile heroic spirit. Fighting style is melee. Defense if by dodging attacks. Knight class = High magic defense. Best agility than all other classes.
Berserker: Any heroic spirit that have been at least once berserk in his/her life. Attack is melee. No defense pattern. Lose sanity/free will and all skills upon mad enchantment all stats go up.
Caster: Any heroic spirit that practice magic arts. Attack is by magic.
Rider: Any heroic spirit with mount. Has leadership skills. Stats set up is mediocre but has great NP.

Well, he didn't really have any. I figured I'd give him his most notable fighting technique, using a long sword and a short sword single-handed. Naming the swords themselves by his teachings might blend them in, since I don't think he used any notable weapons.

He was a master of many fighting implements, so giving him something like a spatial awareness and mastery would put him on par with any other servant except for possibly Archer, unless Musashi could block arrows. Since he's a Saber class fighter, Caster has no effect on him.

I'm going to be doing extensive research on my choices. I might even move this back to the 2nd Grail War, since as far as I know, Nasu hasn't done anything with that one at all.

Yes. The man (body-vessel) is that poor man. The Angra Manyu is the "evil" of the world. That man indeed had hate for the world but what corrupted the grail was his soul = AM when it was stored in the Grail after he died.
Basically, after the end of HF3 the souls of the fallen Heroic spirits where supposed to leave the grail and return to Akasha but AM corrupted the Greater Grail like, forever. So the Grail since then is corrupted for every HF.

Hippolyta is a Heroic Spirit yes, but because of her being from an era of myths (her belt was one of Heracles labours) she needs a great summoner/catalyst too.

Also forgot to mentioned that you need +-100 years (or 50 I don't remember) years difference from the current era for the servant. If it's 50 years you could summon a general from WWII i.e. as Rider.

If I remember correct the Berserkers lose their skills not NP. HF5 Berseker had a bit problem with that cause Ilya ordered him not to talk. But even so his 12 labors works just fine. And HF4 NP (making anything he touch his NP) works also fine.

If you guys wanna think of plausible summonings with "permitted by canon" plots, remember that we know everything about HF4 and HF5 (Fate/Zero and FSN) and that no other HF happen after them.
So you have to work with HF2 and HF3 following their restrictions (as for the First it doesn't really matters as it has ended on the spot, no real rules made up yet and we pretty much learn the important stuff in HF route).
Don't forget that Fate/Zero wasn't written by Nasu but by another man using all the information from FSN and FSN/HA. It was then adopted by TM.

If it was possible to have more modern figures as servants, then Manfred von Richthofen would be a natural Rider. As would William Tecumseh Sherman, who's ultimate ability would be Unlimited Arson Works. Pontiac would also be a good choice.

Geronimo and Crazy Horse would both be good candidates for Berserker or Archer. And Sitting Bull, being a holy man, might make a good caster.
