There's a law in Japan that says that if you become a Japanese citizen, you must take on a Japanese name.

What would you choose for yourself?

Also >>2949502 Foreigners can become Japanese citizens by
A. Marrying a Japanese citizen.
or
B. Living in Japan for 7 years and applying for citizenship. Unfortunately, Japan doesn't have dual-citizenship, so if you're a citizen of the US or any other country, you have to denounce your citizenship before they let you.

Non-japanese Foreigner becoming Citizen = Can't have dual citizenship. Have to renounce previous country.
Native Japanese becoming foreign countries citizen = Can have dual citizenship.

Foreign "citizens" also cannot vote nationally or at their prefectures.

Japan has no law against racial discrimination so it only seems natural.

>> No.2950575

>>2950560
That's because in the Xinhai Revolution the Han Chinese, who were progressive and wanted a modern industrial nation, overthrew the Manchu Chinese, who were isolationist, culturally backward, and feudal.

The Japanese tried to put the Manchu's back in power during WWII, with the 'Great Empire of Manchuria' puppet state, but it failed.

I probably am exaggerating a bit, but I still can't respect Japanese people at all. They produce a lot of good things, but that's all I can give them. Everything about the country and their people annoys me. Not to mention the lifestyles for Japanese are fucking awful, unless you like studying and working yourself to death. It's nothing like you see in anime and VNs.
