My hair...is AWESOME!

>> No.2948932

I'm 24 and completely bald on top, so I just shave my head. Males on my father's side of the family always go bald early, genetics fucking suck. My oldest brother started to go bald in middle school.

>> No.2948935

I've got more hair than necessary.

>> No.2948938

In between third row, columns one and two.

>> No.2948942

My hair is very soft and manageable. It's one of the few things I've ever been complimented on.

Baldness comes from your maternal grandfather.

>> No.2948949

I've been balding for the past six years.

My hair is quite thin at 20.

That's odd, considering that my mother's brothers still haven't gone completely bald and they're 50-60.

My cousin is like that, he's thirty and he's already bald.

22 here. I have grays hairs all around but could be due to stress.

Fuck yeah, my mom's dad has a full head of hair and he's almost 70. Wicked.

My dad is half bald though and has been balding since 35.

So? You're getting your baldness from their father. They kept their hair due to their mother's father.

I was at 3rd row, 2nd column, but I went on finasteride, and so it's stopped and now I'm somewhere between 1st and 2nd column.

>> No.2949009

I used to have thick, long hair which went half way down my back (could touch my bottom if I arched my back).

It made it painfully obvious when I started balding. Loose clumps the size of golf balls coming out when I brushed it, showered, the wind blew etc. I eventually gave into constant complaints from family about leaving hair balls all over the house and clipped it short. I was holding out hope that it would all grow back in unison however that hope was ill-founded.

>> No.2949018

I got my first white hair at 13.
It's because of a thyroid problem, though, not baldness, and the medicine keeps it at bay.

I was just diagnosed with hypothyroidism a little over two weeks ago when some of my bloodwork came back. It'd be nice if I regained some of my hair, but I highly doubt it.

>> No.2949034

I'm not going to have any problems balding. My hair is thick and really shiny. Shiny like girls hair.

Oh my.. Dude, I'm sorry to hear that. I don't know what the disease is, but it can't be good, right? I hope you'll be alright bro.

Yeah, it's not good. I'm on medication for it now, however, so it should be under control.

I think I can afford ~$150 a year. So thank you, I will enjoy it.

Enjoy being bald.

>> No.2949110

Baldness seems to be somehow inexistent in my family.
My grandfather is 81 and still has all of his hair, only, white.
My father is 49 and doesn't even have gray hair.
I have very thick hair about 2 inch below shoulder lenght and I don't lose that much hair. I don't think I'll ever need to worry about this

I was forming a bald spot on my head at the age of 22 due to stress from undergrad (combining two years worth of work into one so that you'll graduate in four years isn't a good of an idea as it sounds).

For months afterward it didn't get any worse but it didn't grow back even though I used Nioxin (which doesn't work). Then I took Saw Palmetto and I starting balding; EVERY place on my scalp was losing hair. Then after a month of that I stopped taking that damn herbal pill and did the smart thing by taking finisteride and using Rogaine. Oddly enough, all my hair grew back. The top of my head still sheds out occasionally and looks thin when I continually eat/drink things that raise my insulin levels, but it always grows back when I stop eating/drinking that shit and nobody has commented on my hair for a year and a half; in fact people complement me on it/don't notice it. I consider myself very lucky because back when my hair was falling out I felt like killing myself.
