Every single Servant can just kill him from the bottom of the stairs except Berserker and Rider. Berserker can just barrel through him. Rider can fly over him with Pegasus.

To be frank, none of them really TRIED. They hadn't come there for him, and pulling out their trump cards on a pawn was not really advisable. And it wasn't like he could chase them, so it was just smarter to leave him be until they were ready to deal with him.

-man is a general term to refer to human beings, not males. It is not required to re-structure every word with two gender variants. In formal English, it is academically correct to use 'he' when referring to a human being in general. i.e. "Will be given to him" instead of "will be given to him or her". So a person who fights with swords as a profession, can be referred to as swordsman, regardless of gender. This is formally correct and it's stupid to see people constantly tripping to make sure words and sentences are gender-conjugated.
