He's good if you set the bar low enough, but most people could surpass him fairly easily, if the videos of him speaking are anything to go by.

Honestly I'm not fully convinced that sentence cards are always the best way to go, even after having had a deck i made with nearly 20k of them. The number of sentence structures you need to rep in anki before new sentence cards become redundant isn't that high.

I wanted to make this a separate post but the mean stupid janny deleted it cos he was mad he ran out of hot pockets so im asking you instead :P I've been wanting to go on a trip to japan since I first saw One Piece when I was like 7 and then all my other favorite animes and next week me and my friends are finally going (were so excited!!) but I want to really impress all the japanese ppl when I get there so they dont think I'm just another dumb ignorant gaijin who doesnt know anything about there culture. i thought about it really hard and then finally I realized a way. in all my favorite animes whenever someone says someones name they add all those cool extra bits at the end like chan and kun and sama, so if I learned all of those (like even the really rare ones) then all the japanese will be impressed with me for knowing so much about their awesome language! I already knew the common ones, san kun chan and sama, and the school ones senpai and sensei, but I knew that wasn't all of them so I looked it up and found out about shi and dono, which are pretty rare ones which even some japanese don't know, as well as some variants on the common ones like tan and chama which are chan and sama but deliberately mispronounced to sound more kawaii. But I still want to know more!! so if you know any more of these cool extra names please tell me so I can have a good time in japan, thx

i decided to take out the writing cards out of my card count and suspend them for now as they take more time to do every day than i am comfortable with
