About magic and witches, I hate to admit it but looks like we're going anti-mystery. Rokkenjima is in a sort of parallel world (EP5 OP) that would allow magic to be used, as it was mentioned in the earlier episodes, and the answer arcs will be about how the different characters overthrow the witch(es), like when Krauss punched the goat, or George and Jessica : each member has a secret magic ability. Since the island is going more and more to the magical side, we can except such scenes for other characters. Also, Kanon and Shannon already know that the world is repeating each time, I guess they will end up telling the rest of the family about what will happen, and how to prevent it.
About the new character, it wouldn't surprise me if it was the incarnation of Maria's rose. The disappearance of this rose was never solved, but was showed in almost every episode IIRC. Since the island allows more magic to be used, Maria's power to "give life" to things (Sakutarou, the rabbits...) would be extended to that rose.
About that Beato in the EP5 OP, probably Battler's mom.

I'm not that happy about this new troll girl and would prefer if current underdeveloped characters, like Virgilia or Kyrie, got more screentime.
