I can't recall any mahjong threads from way back, but I never really visited /jp/ that frequently. I'm ex /b/,/h/ tard and on and off text board browser.

I haven't lied about the time span from my first 4chan visit. I'm visiting boards on and off, nothing too frequent. I tend to look for interesting stuff/discussions instead of staying at a single board. Started visiting /jp/ frequently only about 1/2 month ago. I've taked few months off 4chan now and then as well.

I'm not a poster either, well up till now. I've made maybe 10-20 posts/topics up till about 2 months ago.

And you can really say that you can compare overall quality of discussions now to 2-3 years ago. It's not just 4chan, it's the Internet. More and more people have PCs and Internet connection. Before only techy people participated in discussions on the Internet. Now forums/chans are full of your average American football captains spamming their 2 word sentences and 'first!'s. Also average age of Internet user has gone down by a LOT.

Hope it clarifies everything. I don't (don't like to) lie, I just tend to omit some details sometimes.

It was the West round, I had pong'd the west wind before, and I tried to claim a 2 dot to complete my 2-3-4 open wait to win. It only gave me the option to chow not ron.
