Natsuhi tries to help the culprit.She's betrayed in Ep.1 and surely the other episodes.
Battler will remember what happened 6 years ago
Rose-tan will be the troll character in Ep.5
Goldsmith will be an important clue for Battler solve most murders.

5's will probably be revealing that Kumasawa was the original Beatrice.

6's will probably involve exposing the truth of Asumu and Battler, and who Battler is since he's not Asumu's son.

7 will probably reveal Battler's sin.

8 of course will be where Battler puts it all together and solves the mystery. Shannon is the killer.

On a side note, there's a new portrait in Episode 5. So now we've been shown 4 so far- Beatrice, suit Beatrice, EVA, and now Bern/young Kumasawa/whoever. By association, all the previous portraits were of some Beatrice or another, so I'm guessing this fourth one is as well. Kumasawa being the original Beatrice fits pretty well.

As you guys stated a new portrait showed up.
Only when a new incarnation of the witch appears do they switch them and this ussally involves solving the epitaugh(Spelling) which Eva-Beatrice solved and became the black witch(The witch of twisting hatred is what I call her) hence why they didn't have the epitauph in Ep4 so how this new witch appears is going to be done through a completely new method.Which is will shown by Bernkastel (That is assuming that because Beatrice got to choose how she was suceeded so will Bernkastel)

BTW THERE ARE ALREADY 2 BEATRICES THEY HAVE A CHAT IN EPISODE 4. If they were the same person it wouldn't be nessicary for them to talk and both are capable of leaving the and entering the game board at all making them seperate beyond one being for the purgatory realm and one being on the island.

The Beatrice on the game board can be a lot of thing, but by Ep4 I think something is confirmed: she is not the incarnation of everything bad on the island, she is not the typhoon, she is not Battler, she is not Battler's sin, she is not something supernatural. A while back I crafted a long and elaborate theory based on the premise that Jessica was the 'Beatrice' Battler met on the balcony. I concocted an in depth backstory relating how it could all have come about, and even managed to apply it to most of the games and make some sense out of them.

Then someone posted this image. The very sight of it made me laugh uncontrollably. I hated the way it looked so much I pretty made up an entirely new scenario from scratch and abandoned the Jessica=Beatrice angle (although others took up the theory in my place, and now argue against my new theories, the irony).

I kind of regret that now. Seeing Beato with her hair down sent a chill up my spine. Goddammit.
