So, yeah, that wouldn't surprise me in the least.

That said, I'd go with Eva. Sure she seems like she could be overbearing, and is a royal bitch to those she considers beneath her, but seems completely devoted and caring towards those she loves.

Plus, if there was even a sliver of truth to the scene where George fought Gaap, then she'd also probably be able to any child of hers into a one-man wrecking crew. Who wouldn't want a mom who would gladly teach you the art of kicking ass?

Anyway, apart from the thing I mentioned with Maria, the other weird thing was the scene with Krauss showing the gold bar to Natsuhi. It was without any dialogue whatsoever. They could have spent that 10 second on the part where he says "oh that gold is not exactly a lie". I found the transition a bit awkward here as it is. It might be just me though.
The second part was great.

>> No.2913582,47 [INTERNAL]

In the first episode, you are led to believe that Natsuhi just SUDDENLY SNAPS because Eva called Krauss a traitor. (the scene lost it's credibility)
They left out how Natushi got back at Eva after her talk with Kinzo (Genji disturbed).
I don't know about the "tone" because Eva always speaks like that.

What they did well was showing that Eva didn't leave with Natushi and Genji, but stayed there to place her "trap".

Yeah, I am too. It'll probably get better once the first episode is over and we start seeing Beato and the demons and all of the AKSHUN and mystery.

I've never met a person that has been content with his/hers dad.
My dad is a crazy alcoholic just like the rest of the us. Honestly, we have like someone in the family (including cousins, uncles etc) killing him/herself every five years or so. He he, I'll be prolly next to go at this rate. No, but seriously, it is a great family.

Just woke up, so dunno if it's been posted already.
Have you guys seen the OP for the fifth episode?

>> No.2913582,157 [INTERNAL]

Maybe a young Bernkastel or Virgilia. It might be someone we haven't even seen yet, but I'm leaning more towards one of the established characters.

1:16 is pretty interesting.
blue vs. purple - gold/orange.
I believe the big one is gold = beatrice,
so is blue Bern and purple Lambda?
Or is purple actually red = Battler?

>> No.2913582,160 [INTERNAL]

>>2913582,157
It's likely that it's a new character. Battler's acceptance of magic seems to be growing, so it's quite likely that we're going to see more characters show up over time.

Isn't Pendragon supposed to show up this episode anyways?

>> No.2913582,161 [INTERNAL]
