Canaan, pretty good.

Type-Moon's blonde lead female protagonists get flatter and flatter with every new project.

Cannon, mediocre

I don't even have to let this picture finish loading.

I know what it is; I read you like a book Jones!

Voiced by TEH RIE to boot.

Sure is Type-Moon fanbro in here. This thing was easily on the same level as El Cazador.

You mean The Rie. Fuck, I came when I noticed that. Someone in Japan answered my prayers of giving her more roles like that.

Let's see.
Anime adaption of a VN? Check.
Nasu? Check.
Sure looks /jp/ related to me.

>> No.2912590

>>2912570
More like Anti-Bee Train. And El Cazador is an exception. It's like some planets aligned properly and Bee Train figured out directing. And animating. And not overly abusing a soundtrack.

/a/ material. Now, if you make a thread about the Wii visual novel...

AMAZING.

Except it's a sequel, not an adaptation.

That won't stop there from being a bunch of Umineko and Canaan anime threads after every new episode comes out.

>> No.2912645

Dropped at the end of episode 1. Also throwing away all my weeaboo shit, man I fucking hate anime

>Also throwing away all my weeaboo shit

Don't do that, give it to me instead.

>> No.2912755

I am yet to see anything that is considered good by /jp/, so saying that Canaan is mediocre must mean that it is fucking awesome.

>> No.2912778

>>2912645
Are you serious?

I've been tossing the idea around since before you thought of it, but I don't know if I can go through with it.

It's a small step for mankind, big step for weeabookind.

Wait, is it The Rie or TEH RIE?

5 hours late, but based on a route in the game.

ZUN, what did you think of the first episode of Aoi Hana?

>> No.2913841

So far, since we are only one episode in, all one can judge this show on is the animation, soundtrack, and directing, which were all awesome. Considering the Nasu factor, the plot is likely to be a real clunker, but it's impossible to judge this early on.
