Gohda has been in a fight scene. He helped restrain fake-Kanon, then fought off a bunch of butterflies so the group in the chapel could flee, then held the door against attacking goatmen and other such things until he was, ahem, penetrated.

The only servant in the mansion who wasn't in one was Kumasawa, depending on whether you choose to interpret Virgilia hiding inside her in Ep 3 as her 'taking part in a fight'.

My pick is...that sly bastard, Tetsuro. He aided Ange in getting away from her wicked aunt, since it wouldn't suit him for her to fall into her hands, but hired her a bodyguard that'd make sure to watch from a distance as she was being beaten to death, then to take care of the people that did it, making her disappearance a thing of mystery, something aided by the accompanying disappearance of the boat captain that took them to the island on the return voyage.

Then, he collects on Ange's assets once she's declared legally dead, and continues living the life he's accustomed to as the head of the Ushiromiya fortune.

Just as planned.

Even though Beato plainly gives it away, you can wait until Ryukishi openly explains it in a later answer arc. That is IF he does and doesn't expect the people to get it just like they (some of them at least) got that the Siestas are Maria's.

Not the person to whom you're speaking, but I was also questioning how much of episode 3 is a troll and how much of it wasn't. To put it in easily understandable terms, I got the feeling that it was sort of like that troll comic; she did some genuinely nice stuff beyond what the ploy required and actually enjoyed cooperating with Battler, but the necessity of the game as enforced by Lambdadelta meant that she had to write everything (as opposed to just some of it)off as LOLITROLU.

I'm inclined to believe the whole Siesta torturing Beato scene was a troll since it's been emphasized repeatedly how furniture has no chance against a witch and because of how overly melodramatic that scene was presented.

But with regards to feeling a little bit repentant about her delight in wanton cruelty, I'm inclined to believe that part might not have been entirely feigned, given that afterwards, she refrains from unncecessarily brutal means in subsequent murders.

Maybe I'm just falling for her trap, but while I think she's totally amoral and extremely fickle, I can't say that I think she hates Battler.

My take on it is that Ep3 was genuinely a troll, but it also gave Beatrice a taste of what it would be like if she and Battler had a better relationship. In other words, seeing the results of the troll did get her to start turning around. Hence her reference to the Boy Who Cried Wolf later on.

People who think the end of Ep4 was purely a troll are idiots, though.
