Is Japan really so xenophobic as some people on the Internet claim? I guess it's mainly directed at people from south-east asia and non-western foreigners, right? So as a blond blue-eyed German I should be fine?

All countries naturally hate foreigners. So-called "progressive" counties hide it underneath their liberal charade, but it's still there. European countries are particularly xenophobic. I mean, a European country did commit the single worst genocide against supposed foreigners in the history of mankind. That blood-thirstiness is still there, and I will bet that it comes out within a generation when the Muslim population reaches levels they can not tolerate. It's scary, really.
