I think it has to do with how you were raised. The values you were taught and picked up as a child will form your thinking as an adult.

Personally I grew up with the opinion that life is about joy. Which means I'm very against rape stories, NTR and other things that cause grief. But I accept sex friends, lolicon and other things that are about simply enjoying life together.

In addition I tolerate different opinions, so even though I dislike rape, I'm not forcing my opinion of rape bans on others. In fact I get annoyed when I see people trying to push their values on others.

If it doesn't hurt anyone it follows my life philosophy about spreading joy to the world. Perhaps twisted joy, but all joy is fine unless it causes someone pain.

I know that lolicon stems from the taboo of sexualising children, which lost favour with the industrialisation of society. This leads me to hypothesise that at this point in time, there was some kind of profound change, possibly church-decreed (The church making pedophillia a negative thing, there's a laugh). This, in a sense does stop society at large from "rehabilitating" those involved, but really, it must be asked is there any point in rehabilitation for a fetish? What if all of the foot fetishists in the world were also deemed to be criminals?

It is simply ludicrous to suggest that things have evolved this way, however society can't be changed by our ideas, it would seem.
