Most people go just 'Ditzy airhead, woo', but no experience with interactions can be dangerous too.

And I did not find it trite, since it presented itself only when it actually became a problem (aka bloodlust), not when they first met.

I don't think there was a single moment in the entire game I didn't find myself loving the hell out of Arc. She's beautiful to the point that everyone around you notices her, acts so incredible MOE I WANT TO DIE, and everything she says that isn't related to her vampire-killing purpose makes me just want to hug her forever. Plus even as much of a dick that Shiki is during sex, I loved her ero scene and watch it every week or so. When I watched her good end and she was waiting for you, I literally almost started crying from happiness.

Between every Far side path I went back and replayed some of Arc's scenes like her good end or some of the fights. I didn't really enjoy the Far side paths as much as the Near ones so I needed to keep myself interested in it and Arc fulfills that purpose quite well.
