That was terrible. I actually really liked Kyou's route but like the Tomoyo route they tried to fit a several hours-long route into 20 minutes and failed horribly.

They really should have adapted Sunohara's route, that would have fitted a lot better.

I felt that the Tomoyo OVA was decent. Sure it left out a lot of awesome stuff, like them actually getting together and Tomoyo hanging out at his place and meeting his dad and they should have kissed god damn it, but it did a decent job of the break up scene and reunited scenes which is basically what the OVA was for.

I don't expect the Kyou OVA to be as good because well, there's just too much to cover in 20 minutes. Tomoyo OVA got away with leaving out Tomoyo's background and stuff because it was already in the show in previous eps. Kyou Route didn't really get anything in the show, especially since it mostly him dating Ryou. So they basically are cramming your typical love triangle plot which usually goes for like 12 eps minus 2 or 3 "filler" eps, into 20 minutes.

I'm betting it goes like this. Tomoya and Ryou are already dating. Shows them on one of their dates or eating lunch at school with Kyou in tow. The "practice" kiss scene next. Then loldrama, hit on Sunohara, Rainy scene, dump Ryou get with Kyou all in like 15 minutes. That's some Rollercoaster.
