I only skip H scenes if they are poorly placed, inappropriate or badly written.

Which means I end up skipping quite a few, but typically not in eroges I really like. For example, 'Soshite Ashita no Sekai yori', one of my fav eroges has wonderfully-written H scenes. I'd never skip any of those. On the other hand, I skipped a lot of the H scenes in Triangle Heart just because there was no real need for half of them (all the self service options, including one right before a H scene. I mean, seriously - she's on the bed, you're in the shower, is it really appropriate to MASTURBATE beforehand?)

I don't know why I don't just skip them, there's almost never any character development and most eroge have really awful H-scenes. There are a rare few times when an H-scene isn't awful, will even have the characters behaving interestingly, the moaning won't want you to immediately mute it, those are nice.
