So, taking the final step from the board they once were, /a/ is disowning Moe/Seinen shows in favor of battle shounen. Can Moe come here now? Pic related, she was beaten with the binding of the new Shounen Jump.

The problem with most moe~ shows is that for the most part, they're 12/26 episodes of plotless, pandering fanservice of the worst variety; it's essentially Twilight for men and deserves similar treatment.

That said, I don't hate the concept of moe. If you can adequately integrate it in such a way as to co-exist with (Umineko comes to mind) or augment a story, that's excellent, but I just can't stand garbage like Lucky Star or K-ON, since they're pretty shameless attempts to cash in on the craze.

This is the answer I expected. So the term moe has sexual connotations? If that's true, isn't it just a word employed by pedophiles to dress up their tastes into something which seems more respectable?

There is a pretty clear line in the sand established since the first week this board was created. "Japan related" is not enough to justify every thread. If you had lurked for a while you'd know this.

Now, return to your kid infested board. Or learn how this place works and stay here, you're welcome to adapt into us, but not to force your old topics and customs. This is not how it works.
